ISCONTOUR 2016 was the 4th International Student Conference in Tourism Research, which took place on May 23-24, 2016, in Krems, Austria. The event had a great success and it attracted participants from 43 countries.
The three ISCONTOUR 2016 ICT-related research papers winners were awarded by the International Federation for IT and Travel & Tourism (IFITT) with an IFITT membership. Moreover, the best student also received a free entrace to attend ENTER2017 eTourism Conference in Rome, Italy, on January 24-26, 2017.
The first place was awarded to Rebecca Wahler and Aleksander Groth (see picture below), presenting the paper “Generation Y’s perception of destination websites: The example of Visit London”.
The second place was awarded to Larissa Neuburger (see picture below), presenting the paper “Augmented Reality as a tool to enhance the experience of museum visitors”.
The third place was awarded to Sofiya Iliycheva and Melanie Fraiss (see picture below), presenting the paper “Copy & paste for hotel mobile websites? Or: The power of screen sizes”.
