Ph.D. Workshop 2009

The ENTER Ph.D. Workshop is a platform for doctoral students and supervisors undertaking research in the area of Information and Communication Technology in Travel and Tourism.

The workshop provides a forum for doctoral students to discuss their thesis with peers, colleagues and leading supervisors and scholars in the field. Doctoral students at all stages (beginning as well as nearly completed) are encouraged to participate. The workshop will focus on practical and methodological issues as well as research proposals and interim results of the participating doctoral candidates. The proposals will be incorporated into a CD and distributed to attendees.

The 2009 workshop will be chaired by Professor Mathias Fuchs Professor at the University of Mid-Sweden with the assistance of Dr Marianna Sigala, University of the Aegean and Dr John van der Pijl, Erasmus University.

This year, the Ph.D. Workshop will be hosted in Amsterdam and it is a forerunner to the Research Track at ENTER 2009. It will take place on Tuesday January 27th , 2009, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM Downloadable details will shortly be provided at the bottom of this page.
