Gerhard Faltner

Gerhard Faltner, born 1968 in Austria, started his professional career with Royal Philips after completing the technical high school for Electronics.
Since then he has held positions in Product Management, Product Strategy & Planning and Marketing Management in the area of Consumer Electronics at locations in Europe and Asia.

After the successful deployment of Philips “Connected Planet” vision and the launch of the networking enabled “Streamium” product range, Mr. Faltner moved in 2005 to the Strategic Product- & Innovation Management group at Telekom Austria, based in Vienna.

In his role, he was the technical project manager of Telekom Austrias IPTV product “aonDigital TV”, which was launched in March 2006. The planning and realization of new innovative services and applications in the area of IPTV and e-living falls under his responsibilities.
