Elisabeth Haid

Research Track Speaker
After graduation from the Salzburg Tourism School Klessheim, DI (FH) Elisabeth Haid studied information technology and system management at the University of Applied Sciences in Salzburg. For her diploma thesis, she designed a system for wireless identification of touristic objects using mobile devices. Since 2005, Ms. Haid is employed at Salzburg Research where she works in the area of mobile and web-based information systems for eTourism applications. Her recent work is focused on: (i) application of information and communication technologies in tourism, sports and leisure industries, (ii) development of web-based information systems and mobile applications and (iii) analysis of new (mobile) technologies and applications.
