Objectives of the chapter



IFITT Australasia is now ready to extend its focus to a wider network within the tourism and technology industries and academia. Its key objectives are:

• To promote the IFITT philosophy, strategy and mission statement.
  
  
• Promote IFITT activities and products (e.g. ENTER Conference, Journal of IT and Tourism, Special Interest Groups, workshops) locally.
  
  
• Create a local network involving the travel & tourism industry, TMT (technology, media and telecommunications) sectors, and academia.
  
  
• Develop IFITT Chapter local activities to raise awareness of IFITT, and the relationship between IT and travel & tourism
