CALL FOR DESTINATION CASES

In addition to the usual call for academic research papers, and considering the success achieved in the previous conferences, ENTER2012 is having a call for projects primarily aimed at destination organisations (private and public) representatives and practitioners, who have valuable experience to report and present.

Projects will be in the form of a presentation at one of the sessions in the ENTER2012 Destination Track. A proposal of the project to be presented should follow the template below. Speakers should also include a short bio (50 words) or CV and a short presentation of their organisation (100 words). Official conference language is English (no translation services are available at the conference).

Possible topics include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Social media applications in destinations' websites
• Social media marketing-success and failure cases
• Managing social media within organisations
• Social media as crisis management tool
• Mobile applications for destinations
• Innovation in e-Marketing
• Integrated online marketing
• CRM turning social
• Role of destinations in the digital landscape
• Effective multi-channel branding
• PR in digital and social media
• The future of destination marketing

You must submit your presentation proposal by completing the form on the following page. Please note, it must be submitted by Friday 29th July, 2011 via email to enter2012.destination@gmail.com

A template with advice and guidelines for the speakers is available. Feedback will be given to all submitters stating the acceptance or inappropriateness of the proposal and, possibly, requests for modifications.

Instructions for the submission of the presentation will be sent to all accepted and confirmed speakers. Presentations will be published online and made available to all delegates of ENTER 2012.

Authors have to register for the conference by November 1st, 2011 in order to have their presentation scheduled at the conference.

Submission closes July 29th, 2011
Final acceptance September 16th, 2011
Registration Deadline November 1st, 2011
Conference January 25th – 27th, 2011
