By plane The best airport to arrive is Copenhagen International Airport which is located 70 kilometers from Helsingborg and can be accessed by direct hourly trains (€ 15-20) in 1hour. Copenhagen airport has direct connections to most major European cities, and many Asian and North American cities. There are several connections to most European cities every day. The local Helsingborg-Ängelholm Airport has numerous daily flights to Stockholm.

By car Helsingborg is located at the motorway E6. To travel to Helsingborg from central Europe, one can travel towards Copenhagen in Denmark and then go across the Öresundsbridge to Malmö, from where you turn to E6, northwards. One can also go to the Danish city of Helsingör and take the ferry that will take you directly to the centre of Helsingborg. The ferry takes 25 minutes.

The ferries depart every 10-20 minutes. If you are coming from the north along the E4 or E6, then the shortest route to Copenhagen is via Helsingborg.
