The city of Helsingborg and Lund University want to jointly promote further development of activities at Campus Helsingborg. This development includes both education and research and to continuously strengthen the collaboration between business and society.

The city of Helsingborg commits funds each year for relevant development and research at Campus Helsingborg. These funds are allocated by a group called Plattformen, which consists of the Campus Principal, the president of Campus Helsingborg Student Committee, an industry representative and the city official responsible for liaison with the university.

 The European Tourism Research Institute (Etour) at Mid Sweden University develops and communicates knowledge about tourism and travel. Etour maintains active dialogue and interaction with leading actors in the travel and tourism sector on today’s critical issues.
Etour activities include research, education, dialogue and collaboration. The department offers courses in human geography, tourism studies and tourism education.
